The 47th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL 2012) takes place this week, April 18-22, in Barcelona. HIVandHepatitis.com will be on site to provide breaking news and analysis.
EASL's International Liver Congress is one of the key annual scientific meetings covering hepatitis B and C and its complications, bringing together leading researchers from around the world. Many presentations this year will look at new direct-acting antiviral agents for hepatitis C, including the promising HCV polymerase inhibitor GS-7977 and the NS5A inhibitor daclatasvir.
